MS Eco Metalworks manufactures premium metal grits for abrasive blasting and industrial surface preparation — engineered for performance, designed with the planet in mind.
MS Eco Metalworks (MSD Metalworks) is a Romanian industrial manufacturer producing high-performance metal grits used in abrasive blasting and surface preparation across heavy industries in Europe and beyond.
Our manufacturing process uses a proprietary method currently under patent application, giving us a significant competitive edge through improved production efficiency and substantially reduced material waste compared to traditional methods.
From coarse heavy-duty blasting to micro-precision finishing, our 10 grit grades from G10 through G120 cover the full spectrum of industrial surface preparation needs.
Every ton of metal grit we produce starts not from virgin raw materials — but from recycled steel wire. This is the foundation of our entire manufacturing philosophy, and it is what separates MS Eco Metalworks from every other abrasive producer in the region.
Our proprietary production process was specifically engineered to work with recycled input material — eliminating the thermal treatment step that traditional manufacturers depend on. The result is a production method that is cleaner, more energy-efficient, and generates significantly less industrial waste than conventional abrasive manufacturing.
This is not a marketing position. It is how the process was designed from day one — with a patent application currently in progress. The ecological advantage is structural, not cosmetic.
Our 10 grades span from maximum-aggression heavy-duty blasting to ultra-fine decorative finishing — manufactured from recycled steel wire, conforming to ISO 11124 and SAE J444.
If your operation involves metal surfaces that need cleaning, profiling, or finishing before coating or assembly — we have the right grit for your process. Our 10-grade range covers every industrial application from heavy structural blasting to micro-precision finishing.
Hull descaling, anti-corrosive coating preparation, structural deck surfaces. Demanding environments with no tolerance for surface failure.
Descaling hot-rolled steel, surface preparation for beams, columns, girders, containers, and tanks before anti-corrosive coating.
Bridge steel maintenance, port structures, water and sewage pipelines, industrial building frameworks. Recurring, regulation-driven procurement.
Pipeline exterior surface preparation, refinery equipment maintenance, gas storage tanks, petrochemical plant coating systems.
Chassis, axles, engine casings, truck frames, and trailers. Controlled surface profiles that preserve dimensional tolerances before painting.
Bogies, wheel sets, frames, and rail infrastructure components. Consistent grit specification across high-volume maintenance cycles.
Excavator arms, mining frames and buckets, industrial presses, crane structures. Safety-critical components where surface quality is non-negotiable.
Turbine blades, engine casings, armoured vehicle components, MRO surface preparation. Stringent batch traceability and micro-geometry preservation.
Surgical instruments, orthopaedic implants, stainless steel device housings. Ultra-fine surface control with full ISO 13485-compatible traceability.
PCB housings, connectors, terminal contacts, precision molds and dies. Low-tolerance micro-blasting where surface geometry cannot be compromised.
Stainless steel facades, handrails, aluminium panels, glass etching, catering equipment. Consistent matte aesthetic finish on visible surfaces.
Bridge, pipeline, port, and structural steel contractors operating across Central Europe, SE Europe, and the MENA region. Competitive European-manufactured supply with fast logistics.
At 22, Marco set out to build a scalable industrial manufacturing company from scratch — competing with established European abrasive manufacturers through genuine technological innovation.
He conceived the business model, developed the proprietary production process, and led the full commercial strategy — from investor documentation to the first client letter of intent, all before production began.
Sergiu brings deep industrial and engineering expertise to the company — responsible for translating the proprietary production process into a fully operational factory, from equipment specification to quality control systems.
He owns the technical side of the business: factory setup, production infrastructure, ISO certification, and all engineering credibility with clients and industrial partners.
"We're not just making metal grits. We're building a company that lasts — one that takes a traditional industry and makes it smarter, cleaner, and more competitive."
